This exemplary is the most beautiful and also the best preserved of three manuscripts (the other two are property of the British Library, London: Harley 4979, and of the Royal Library of Belgium: ms 11040). The miniatures are inserted in the text and form a rapid succession, so that it is not strange that two images had to be placed on the same page.
